A website everyone can use
Last reviewed: October 19, 2026
Our accessibility commitment
Ant’s Photography wants everyone to be able to see our work, read our prices and get in touch, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
What the site does
- Keyboard access: menus, galleries and forms work with the keyboard, with a visible focus outline. Press Escape to close menus and the photo viewer.
- Light and dark themes: use the sun or moon button in the menu to switch. The site also follows your device setting.
- Readable text: text meets WCAG AA color contrast in both themes, and you can zoom the page with your browser.
- Less motion: if your device is set to reduce motion, sliders and animations stop moving on their own.
- Photo descriptions: every portfolio photograph has a text description for screen readers.
How we check
We test every public page with the open-source axe-core accessibility checker in both themes, and fix what it finds. On October 19, 2026, every public page passed its WCAG 2.1 AA checks. Automated tools can’t catch everything, so we also welcome feedback from the people who use the site.
Known limitations
- The RSVP and event-planning pages are a separate system that we are still reviewing.
- Booking, maps and reviews open on other companies’ websites (Session, Google), which have their own accessibility.
